School of Medical Education, Angamaly was established in the year 1993. SME Angamaly is situated in Angamaly Municipality at the financial capital of Kerala –Ernakulum district, The School of Medical Education came into existence in 1993, a self financing college, directly under Mahatma Gandhi University till 2016, with an aim of providing trained human resources in the area of Allied Medical and Health Sciences.
From 2017 the institution is run by Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies (CPAS), a Society established by Government of Kerala. This is one of the pioneer self financing institutions in the state of Kerala offering BSc MLT course affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences.
The School of Medical Education, a self financing college, previously run directly by Mahatma Gandhi University till 2016, came into existence in 1993 with an aim of providing trained human resources in the area of allied medical and health sciences. Now this institution is under the control of Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies (CPAS), a Society established by Government of Kerala.
Providing quality education by fostering innovation based learning, research, and employability to our students to succeed academically and also helping them to develop critical thinking, communication, creativity, and cultural awareness through meeting the needs of a diverse student population by embracing equity and accountability.
